The Arnprior Fire Department has a new teaching tool, courtesy of one of the town’s manufacturers. Nu-Tech Precision Metals of Arnprior has donated a classroom-sized Smartboard for the fire station’s training room, a gift the department announced with what it called great appreciation.
Firefighter training is continuous — from medical response protocols to evolving building materials and fire behaviour — and modern classroom technology makes that instruction more effective.
The bigger picture: Nu-Tech is part of Arnprior’s quiet manufacturing base — the kind of local employer whose community contributions often go unnoticed. Consider this noticed.
